Key Responsibilities
- Design and build HTML email templates for campaigns, newsletters, product launches, and automated flows
- Collaborate with marketers and copywriters to turn concepts and messaging into compelling visuals
- Ensure emails are mobile-responsive , visually consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Optimize email layouts for readability, deliverability, and conversion
- Conduct QA across devices, email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.), and screen sizes
- Work with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot ) to implement and schedule campaigns
- Support A / B testing of subject lines, design variations, CTAs, and more
- Stay current on email design best practices , trends, and compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Maintain a library of reusable templates, modules, and components
- Collaborate with data / analytics teams to interpret performance and improve design effectiveness
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in email design and HTML email developmentProficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator )Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS for email (including inline styles and email client quirks)Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first email frameworks (e.g., MJML, Foundation for Emails)Attention to detail and excellent QA / testing habitsUnderstanding of email marketing principles , campaign structure, and segmentationAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlinesSkills Required
