Job description

Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and business plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing channels.
  • Set and monitor annual and quarterly sales targets for teams and regions.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Establish a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs, coaching, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify, hire, and retain top sales talent.
  • Financial Management

  • Oversee the sales departments P&L, ensuring targets for revenue, margins, and profitability are met.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Provide regular financial forecasts and variance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Market Analysis & Business Development

  • Conduct detailed market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to identify growth opportunities.
  • Formulate go-to-market strategies for new product launches or market expansion.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business reach.
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through service excellence and value delivery.
  • Address customer issues and feedback promptly to maintain strong brand reputation.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including net and retail sales, pipeline conversion, and market penetration.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and present insights to executive management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Management to align business strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotions, and lead generation & Experience :
  • Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and leading large sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and sales budgets.
