TCS is looking for Spark Scala Developer

Experience : 6-8 years

Location : Chennai

MUST HAVE SKILLS :

  • Data Engineer Design and develop scalable and efficient solutions using Spark, Scala, Python, Airflow.
  • Good code and configuration spark knowledge (at least 1 or 2 profiles should be very good at spark configuration and cluster configuration level)
  • Good / medium level of scala and / or python (need a balance on this of python and scala but ideally they could handle both)
  • At least 1 or 2 should have a good / medium level of knowledge of Airflow
  • Critical mindset
  • Proactive
  • Be able to work autonomously
  • Good with maven (dependencies and project setups)

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS :

  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodology
  • Experience with JIRA, ADLM Tools
  • Ability to prioritize, status, and multitask.

    • ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, and test engineers on the team to produce high quality software that delivers business value and follows established design patterns and processes.
  • Independently develop, code or modify, test, and debug application programs of varying degree of complexity
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Work with business users to develop and implement acceptance tests to ensure that product meets customer requirements and expectations.
