Job Summary : - Rama University is seeking dynamic and experienced academicians for the position of Professor / Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, a proven research record, and at least 10 years of teaching experience along with 5 years in a leadership or administrative role such as Head of Department, Research Coordinator, or Academic Dean. The incumbent will play a key role in academic leadership, curriculum innovation, research guidance, and overall departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities : -

Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science & Engineering.
Lead curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
Supervise Ph.D., M.Tech, and B.Tech student research projects and dissertations.
Conduct and publish high-impact research in reputed national and international journals.
Guide and mentor faculty members and students for research and innovation initiatives.
Take leadership in academic planning, faculty development, and departmental administration.
Collaborate with industries, research bodies, and professional organizations for academic and research partnerships.
Contribute to accreditation processes (NBA / NAAC) and other quality assurance initiatives.
Actively participate in university-level committees, seminars, and conferences.

Qualification : -

Educational Qualification : Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized university.

Experience : Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience in a reputed academic institution.

At least 5 years in a leadership capacity such as HOD, Program Coordinator, or similar role.

Research Credentials : Strong publication record in SCOPUS / SCI indexed journals, proven record of guiding research scholars (Ph.D. / M.Tech), and experience in funded research projects or patents preferred.

Excellent academic and research acumen in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, or Cyber Security.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Commitment to academic excellence and student development.

Ability to foster collaborations with industry and research institutions.
