Murex Datamart Reporting Consultant - Bangalore

Project Description :

One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.

This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.

This will allow you to learn & grow with the Trading & Risk domain along with the supervision of senior team member.

Responsibilities :

As Murex Datamart Reporting Consultant, you will be part of application development and maintenance projects, Mx-upgrade implementation projects.

As part of the team, you will be involved in planning, design, and solutions around Murex Datamart.

Support senior team members in collecting and documenting business and technical requirements related to the Murex upgrade.

Help in basic configuration tasks and environment setup under guidance.

Maintain clear and updated project documentation, including test results, issue logs, and status reports.

Work closely with finance, risk, accounting, and back-office teams to understand processes and support project needs.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as needed.

Mandatory Skills Description :

0.5 to 2 years of experience in IT Projects

Strong academic background in business, finance, mathematics, and accounting

Strong interest in financial markets

Technical skills : SQL, Unix

Dictionary SQL XML

Financial products knowledge in FX, FXD, IRD, EQD

Good knowledge on trade life cycle management

Ability to work proactively and independently when necessary, and displays strong initiative

Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent team player and multicultural awareness

Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

1-2 years of Murex experience will be preferred.
