About DWS Real Estate ESG Team
The DWS Real Estate ESG Team is responsible for the global ESG strategy of our real estate investments, as well as the operational implementation of ESG projects in the local assets. Headquartered in Frankfurt, DWS Real Estate has local offices across Europe, APAC and the US. The real estate platform is working with an ESG reporting tool, where data maintenance will be the focus of the role.

Your key responsibilities
Support the continuous collection and review of real estate utilities data (energy, water, waste) and other ESG-related information on asset level in a bespoke ESG data platform. Ensure timeliness and quality of data delivery from external partners and identify and follow-up on outliers as relevant.Set up the profile on the ESG data platform for new assets, including extracting investment details from due diligence reports and uploading any existing ESG performance data.Manage user access and rights to the ESG data platform.Maintain various excel-based KPI trackers and reporting and interact with local asset management and property management teams to ensure they deliver the necessary information in time and understand the KPIs and outputs.Provide ad-hoc support in analysing and reporting the gathered ESG data to colleagues, clients, benchmarks, and other stakeholders.Extract relevant data from ESG / Sustainability platform and support various Real Estate reporting requirements.Your skills and experience
Education and Experience :
Post-graduate or international equivalent experienceDegree in either an engineering / mathematics / environmental science or banking / financial / economic / accountancy related subjectPrior relevant work experience of 2-3 yearsProficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and general fluency in IT applicationsVery strong analytical skillsSustainability knowledge is an advantageExperience with ESG software platforms would also be an advantage.Competencies :
Highly motivated and self-sufficient, with a strong willingness to take on new challengesStrong communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detailDiligent and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables under strict deadlinesComfortable in a numerical technical environment and with the general mathematical concepts of finance.Ability to work independently and as part of the teamHigh level of comfort in dealing with different local offices in Europe, APAC and the US.How we'll support you
