Job Summary :
The Electrical Lead – LT & ELV Systems will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all low-tension (LT) electrical and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems for a high-tech OSAT facility. The role demands deep technical expertise, leadership, and coordination skills to ensure timely delivery of electrical infrastructure aligned with semiconductor industry standards, cleanroom requirements, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Execution & Technical Oversight :
- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of LT electrical systems including transformers, panels, cabling, and distribution networks.
- Oversee ELV systems such as BMS, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, public address, and structured cabling.
- Ensure compliance with semiconductor cleanroom electrical standards and ESD-safe practices.
2. Design Coordination & Review :
Collaborate with design consultants, OEMs, and internal teams to review electrical layouts, load calculations, and ELV integration.Validate shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical submittals.3. Quality & Safety Assurance :
Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections for electrical and ELV installations.Ensure adherence to safety standards including NFPA, IEC, and local electrical codes.Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities.4. Planning & Resource Management :
Develop detailed execution plans, schedules, and manpower deployment strategies.Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project milestones and budgets.Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of electrical equipment and materials.5. Team & Stakeholder Management :
Lead a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.Conduct regular coordination meetings with cross-functional teams including HVAC, process utilities, and automation.Interface with clients, consultants, and statutory authorities for inspections and approvals.6. Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of installation progress, testing reports, and commissioning certificates.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and client review.Support in preparing as-built documentation and handover packages.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred).Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, with at least 5 years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of LT distribution systems, ELV integration, and cleanroom electrical requirements.Familiarity with international standards (NFPA, IEEE, IEC, ISO).Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and electrical design tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
