Senior Scale / Performance tester

How You Will Contribute :

Design and implement comprehensive test plans in collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams, addressing scenarios such as load, stress, scalability, and endurance.

Configure and manage testing environments that mirror production setups, ensuring realistic and sufficient test data preparation for diverse scenarios.

Develop and execute performance test scripts and scenarios using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling to simulate user behavior under varying conditions.

Perform diverse performance test types, including load, stress, scalability, spike, endurance, and volume testing, to evaluate system reliability and efficiency.

Monitor and analyze system metrics such as response time, throughput, error rates, CPU usage, and memory utilization during test execution.

Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks by analyzing test results and identifying root causes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization techniques, such as code refactoring or database tuning, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

The Must Haves :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Expertise in performance testing tools, including JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, and BlazeMeter.

Proficiency in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Nagios.

Strong scripting / programming skills in languages like Python, Groovy, Shell, or JavaScript for test automation.

Solid understanding of application architecture, including microservices, databases (SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J, GraphQL), and cloud environments like AWS or Azure.

Experience with CI / CD integration, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.

Nice to Haves :

Familiarity with Linux basics, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Advanced knowledge of logging tools and database optimization techniques.

Exposure to cloud-native technologies and infrastructure monitoring.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues.

Proficient communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to contribute to industry best practices and methodologies for performance testing.

Experience with large-scale systems or enterprise-level applications.
