Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mathematics Tutor. The Mathematics Tutor will provide online instruction to students in grades K-12, facilitating lessons in topics such as Algebra and other mathematics concepts. Responsibilities also include preparing learning materials, guiding students to understand complex topics, and fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Teachers will track student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with the team to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Mathematics, including Algebra and foundational math concepts
• Experience in Online Tutoring and general Tutoring best practices
• Effective Communication skills to explain mathematical concepts clearly
• Ability to foster an engaging and student-focused online learning environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is preferred
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with K-12 students is an advantage
• Tech-savvy with the ability to use online platforms for remote teaching
• Passion for education and supporting student growth
