Senior Architectural Draftsman (10+ Years Experience)The ideal candidate is a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Draftsman with at least 10 years of professional expertise in producing precise and comprehensive drawings for architectural projects. This role requires advanced technical skills, deep knowledge of building codes and construction practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, ensuring accuracy and clarity.Translate architectural designs and concepts into technical drawings that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction challenges.Review and update drawings to reflect changes or modifications during the project lifecycle.Maintain and manage a library of drawings, ensuring timely retrieval and updates for ongoing and future projects.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.Mentor junior draftsmen, providing guidance and quality checks to maintain high standards of output.Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools to produce high-quality deliverables.QualificationsDiploma or degree in Architectural Drafting or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience as an architectural draftsman, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software, with excellent technical drawing skills.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
