Databricks Technical Lead

Role : Technical Lead — Databricks (Data Platform Operations) Location : Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

Mode : General shift (weekend / night support only when required)

Experience : 12–15 years

Immediate joiners preferred.

About the Role :

We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Lead who can guide a Databricks operations team, drive stability across the platform, and take charge of troubleshooting, governance and automation. If you’ve led support teams and have deep hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark and Azure, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide technical leadership and mentor the support team

Run daily operations and ensure smooth 24×7 support

Validate releases / changes and recommend improvements

Lead troubleshooting bridges and RCA discussions

Identify automation opportunities and streamline processes

Strengthen operational controls, alerts and monitoring

Build dashboards and reports for operational insights

Ensure compliance, security tasks and governance

Train team members on Databricks and associated processes

Must-Have Skills :

12–15 years in Big Data / Cloud Data Platform support

Deep expertise in Databricks (clusters, jobs, repos, MLflow, warehouse)

Strong Spark / Spark UI knowledge and job debugging

Hands-on experience with Azure, UNIX, SQL, Shell scripting

Good understanding of CI / CD (Azure DevOps)
