Credit Analyst

Job Title : Credit Analyst

Location : Pune (Work-from-Office)

Job Summary :

The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk models, monitoring portfolio quality, and performing periodic alignments of the models to fit business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain credit risk models, covering the customer life cycle engagement, including acquisition, fraud, portfolio / debt management, and cross-sell / upsell.

2. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations that influence credit risk decisions.

3. Evaluate various data sources, including but not limited to bureau data, alternate data, and customer digital footprints, to enhance the decision-making process and enhance credit model designs.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into lending and portfolio management processes.

5. Provide insights and recommendations to support credit risk management.

6. Collaborate with policy teams on new product launches, providing analytical support on segment selection and industry trends related to credit risk.

Requirements :

1. Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.G., mathematics, statistics, economics) or MBA in Finance / Business Analytics.

2. Minimum 1 year of experience in credit analytics or a related field.

3. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, pyspark.

4. Experience with machine learning / AI algorithms.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.G., Azure, AWS, GCP).
