We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 year of accounting experience specifically within the real estate industry. Proficiency with US / UK accounting software is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting : - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Accounts Payable / Receivable : - Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting : - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.
General Ledger Maintenance : - Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Compliance : - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
Property Management Support : - Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.
Software Utilization : - Effectively use US / UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience : 2 years - 7 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
Software Skills : Proficiency with US / UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Realpage, Entrata, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of local real estate market and regulations.
Experience with property management software.
