About the Role

Logi5 is looking for a versatile Backend Web Developer to lead the backend development of multiple upcoming websites — including marketing sites, campaign microsites, affiliate pages, and content platforms.

While many of our sites currently run on custom WordPress CMS with PHP , we’re open to modern frameworks such as Next.Js with headless CMS (Strapi, Sanity, or even WordPress headless) , Laravel , or Node.Js / Express — especially if they help accelerate development and improve long-term scalability.

You’ll work closely with our in-house designer to convert creative assets into fully functional, responsive, and high-performance websites — and we expect you to leverage AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, CodeWP, etc.) to boost speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain backend systems for multiple websites using the most suitable stack (WordPress, Laravel, or headless CMS architecture)
• Customize CMS functionality, build APIs, and manage backend logic
• Optimize websites for speed, security, Core Web Vitals, and SEO performance
• Build and connect dynamic modules (e.G., forms, calculators, affiliate tracking, landing page engines)
• Use AI tools to generate code, automate routine tasks, and streamline development workflows
• Deploy sites on staging and production servers, and manage hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, VPS, etc.)
• Ensure clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless handoff and execution
