B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Organic / Industrial Chemistry

Job Overview

We are looking for a Process Development Chemist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in surfactant and specialty chemical process development. The role involves designing and conducting experiments, optimizing processes, and supporting technology transfer from lab to pilot and plant scale.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Organic / Industrial Chemistry with 2–3 years of relevant lab experience
  • Exposure to surfactants, emulsifiers, and process scale-up
  • Strong understanding of esterification, sulfonation, ethoxylation, propoxylation, and carboxylation reactions
  • Hands-on experience with autoclaves, EO / PO handling, and analytical tools (NMR, GC, HPLC, LC-MS)
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and collaborative team player

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct lab-scale experiments for process development and optimization.
  • Support process scale-up from lab → pilot → commercial plant.
  • Work on yield improvement, impurity profiling, and process safety.
  • Maintain experimental records, prepare reports, and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, QA / QC, and EHS teams for smooth project execution.
