About Team

The Center of Excellence (CoE) for Architecture and DevSecOps is a small, dynamic unit within Swiss Re's Risk Management InfoTech department. The team supports over 20 applications, focusing on IT solution architecture and DevSecOps practices. The IT landscape primarily utilizes Microsoft Azure as the main public cloud platform, while also integrating on-premise systems, SaaS solutions, and Palantir Foundry-based applications.

Responsibilities

Take end-to-end responsibility for operating and continuously improving performance and fault-tolerance of large-scale, multi-cloud solutions.
Ensure system security, data integrity, and the high availability of platforms.
Stay current with technology trends and identify innovative solutions that align with organizational needs.
Create and maintain technical support documentation.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and consultation to internal customers.
Implement and test automated solutions that enhance platform reliability, stability, and scalability.
Contribute to shaping a technology platform that delivers excellent user experiences and meets business and product objectives.

Requirement

Proven experience in software development, continuous integration / deployment, and system engineering within large-scale distributed cloud environments.

Familiarity with Azure-based application landscapes.

At least one Azure certification (preferably an Expert-level certification).

Experience working with Terraform, Azure Pipelines, and DevSecOps methodologies.

Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional language proficiency is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Postgraduate degree is a plus.
