JD for DevOPs Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring modularity, version control, and multi-environment consistency (Dev, UAT, Prod).
• Architect and maintain secure, highly available network topologies using AWS VPC / GCP VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or AWS CodePipeline for both applications and infrastructure.
• Deploy, scale, and manage applications using Kubernetes (EKS / GKE) and Helm, ensuring reliability, observability, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Configure and optimize monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Cloud Monitoring, and define alerting for proactive issue detection.
• Implement least privilege access using IAM roles and service accounts, manage secrets securely (AWS Secrets Manager / GCP Secret Manager), and ensure SSL / TLS automation.
• Automate operational tasks (patching, provisioning, certificate rotation) using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous reliability improvements.
