SS&C Technologies - Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automated).
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly all bugs and issues.
• Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman / Swagger.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).
• Ensure product quality across multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and release activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide detailed reporting on testing progress, coverage, and defect Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in software QA (manual and automation).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar).
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing.
• Experience in API testing (Postman / Swagger).
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
