Ourguide AI is a Silicon Valley–based startup building an AI-powered desktop application, along with scalable backend infrastructure from the ground up. Our founding team consists of IIT alumni and Purdue graduates, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the team, learn from their expertise, and contribute directly to shaping a world-class AI product from the ground up.

Who You Are / Must-Haves :

Tier 1 college IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT
Exceptional EngineerBackend : Strong experience in Python, Go or Java
Frontend : Strong experience in React, Electron or any other Typescript based framework
Cloud : Proficient with cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud or OCI
Database : Experience working and scaling databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Good to Have : Working with LLMs and exposure to CV models like DinoV3, YOLO etc
Entrepreneurial : Preference for candidates with experience at successful startups or ownership mindset specially valued
Seasoned : Battle-tested with 3–5 years of relentless, hands-on engineering experience, solving high-stakes technical challenges under pressure
Gritty : Capable of working long productive hours
Background : Contributions to open-source, side projects, or anything that shows you are curious

What You’ll Do :

Ship and Own Products : Collaborate with founders, move fast to shape our products, and ultimately take ownership of your own product line.

Design Scalable Solutions : Crafting systems that remain fast, reliable, and secure as we grow while owning key backend & infrastructure projects.

Translate Vision into Launches : Partner with founders and cross-functional teams to turn big ideas into clear plans, drive sprints, and land high-impact releases.

Technical Leadership : Drive technical decisions and architecture design, shaping the foundation of our solution
