Role Technical Architect

Experience : 5 to 6 years

Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect – Java Backend to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based application architecture, microservices, cloud deployments, and strong leadership skills to guide engineering teams in delivering enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java backend systems primarily using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and frameworks for backend development.
  • Design microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance architecture and system performance.
  • Ensure system scalability, maintainability , and security according to best practices.

Key Competencies / Skill sets

  • Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) .
  • Experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployments (AWS / Azure / GCP) .
  • Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of design patterns, system design, algorithms, and data structures .
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.
  • Exposure to performance tuning, caching, and distributed systems .
  • Knowledge of API security, OAuth, and JWT .
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

    • Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 3 years in an architecture / lead role.
