Associate Solar Systems Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting :
• Prepare detailed drawings which includes Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA), structural design, shadow analysis, and string configuration.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements and are aligned with industry standards.
• Project Review and Monitoring :
• Assess site readiness, analyse solar resources, validate capacity compliance, and review equipment quality and suitability.
• Identify project risks (technical, operational, financial) and recommend mitigation measures.
• Conduct design reviews at various stages of the project lifecycle : design, installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance to ensure adherence to design specifications and optimal functionality.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to address design-related requirements, clarifications, and changes.
• Process Improvement :
• Continuously evaluate and refine design processes to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in solar design.
