Data Visualization and Analytics Engineer

In this position, the candidate will build and maintain BI and analytics solutions that transform data into knowledge and provide insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data and business analysis, along with analytical and communication skills. Sound business understanding and problem-solving abilities are also desired. The candidate will work directly in a client facing role to provide architecture, design, configuration, support, consultation services, and technical software project support, focusing on Microsoft Power BI .

The Preferred Skills and Experience :

• 4+ years of extensive experience in prototyping, designing, developing, publishing Power BI Reports
• In depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Visualizations and Story Telling
• Experience identifying business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights.
• Experience converting business needs into technical specifications and establishing timelines for job completion.
• Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, data warehousing, database architecture
• Experience with Cognos is desirable.
• Experience with Azure platform is a plus.
• Agile Development Methodology is a plus.
• Effective communication and should have worked in a client facing role.
