Job Title :

HANA Database Administrator (DBA)

Experience : 3–6 Years

Location :

Hyderabad, Bangalore & Pune

Shifts : Rotational

Key Skills & Expertise

Strong understanding of

SAP HANA system architecture

and

Linux operating systems .

Experience in

HANA installation, administration, and upgrades

(including HANA 1.0 to 2.0 migration and MDC setup).

Proficient in

backup and recovery management , including point-in-time recovery and backup troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience in

HANA Studio

for monitoring, performance tuning, and alert management.

Expertise in

user and role management , audit log configuration, and enabling traces for performance analysis.

Skilled in

parameter configuration ,

memory / CPU utilization troubleshooting , and resolving performance issues.

Experience handling

critical incidents (P1 & P2)

and providing timely resolutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage

technical incident handling , message processing, and root cause analysis.

Perform

installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations

of SAP HANA systems.

Monitor system performance, execute

tuning activities , and ensure regular

backups and recovery

procedures.

Ensure

high availability and disaster recovery readiness

for HANA environments.

Provide

technical expertise

for system optimization, architecture improvements, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with international teams for

knowledge transfer

and maintain

clear technical documentation .

Conduct

training sessions and workshops

for customers and mentor junior team members.

Contribute to

process improvements, tool development , and optimization initiatives.

Demonstrate strong

analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-focused problem-solving

skills.
