Sr. BIM 3D Modeller - Job Description (India)

The position is open at our India office working with our UK based teams.

We have openings for Senior BIM 3D Modeller with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and Design.

As a member of team, you will be responsible for carrying out the CAD Drawing development and 3D Modelling for UK Water projects.

You will be working under the direction of the Team Manager, Project Managers and Lead Design Engineers.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum B. Tech / M. Tech from an institution of repute.

Extensive knowledge and experience of CAD Drawing development and 3D Modelling in the water industry.

An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.

The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Navisworks as well as MS Office Software.

Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors

Principal Duties and Main Activities

BIM 3D Modeller, working in a Multidisciplinary Team, interfacing and coordinating with the other disciplines

Water / Wastewater Treatment 3D Model Creation

Providing Outline and Detailed 3D Design Models

Developing P&IDs

Participation in Design Review, Hazard Studies and Access Lifting and Maintenance Review

Ensuring design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of works, timescales and budgets.
