Cradlepoint is looking for an IT Product Architect - Trade Compliance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both Regulatory and Corporate compliance within our Product Line Compliance. We manage a mix of in-house built products and out-of-the-box solutions. We need a Product Architect with strong technical skills and knowledge who can effectively drive our Compliance transformation, working with various business units to meet all mandatory, regulatory, and corporate compliance requirements.
What You Will Do : Key Responsibilities
- Align and groom / refine requirements with business stakeholders and the IT Product Owner.
- Prepare product decisions and initiate the execution of product development.
- Safeguard the product design, IT security, integrations & architecture .
- Administer and manage functional and non-functional requirements .
- Manage various stakeholders , including vendor partners, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Define, align, and develop the technology and architecture strategy and planning / roadmap for the product(s) in scope.
- Get involved with the Product Vendor and Application Operations team to support on critical issue handling when they occur.
- Identify areas of improvement , working to drive and follow up on improvement activities across the area.
The Skills You Bring : Required Qualifications
Education & Experience : A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant industry experience, particularly with a strong focus on architecture, compliance, and stakeholder management.Architectural Design Patterns : Experience with Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless, Monolithic Decomposition, Layered Architecture.System Design Principles : Strong understanding of Scalability, Reliability, Performance Optimization, Security by Design, Maintainability.Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.API Design & Development : Expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, API Gateways, Micro-Frontends.Data Architecture : Knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB), Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL / ELT.Security & Compliance : Experience with Threat Modeling, IAM (Identity and Access Management), OAuth, OpenID Connect, Data Encryption.Programming Languages : Proficiency in at least one (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js, C#, .NET).CI / CD Pipelines : Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).Domain-Driven Design (DDD) .Testing Methodologies : Understanding of Unit, Integration, End-to-End, Performance, Security Testing.Networking Concepts : Knowledge of DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs, Firewalls.Proven experience in large-scale implementations .Strong Stakeholder Management and excellent Communication Skills .Good to Have :
