Job Description : Automation Test Engineer

Position : Automation Test Engineer

Location : Mumbai / Pune

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using test management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure quality.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
  • Maintain CI / CD integration for automated testing pipelines.
  • Ensure best practices in automation testing frameworks and coding standards.

Required Skills :

  • Strong experience in Selenium / WebDriver with Java / Python (as per your requirement).
  • Hands-on experience in TestNG / JUnit / PyTest.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI / CD).
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM), BDD (Cucumber), etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium).
  • Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter / LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to cloud-based test platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
