Job Title : Business Development Lead - Recruitment Services (Permanent / RPO / Staffing / Payroll)

Location : Remote (preferred base location : Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi / NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai)

Salary : Based on fitment (80 : 20 Fixed : Variable split)

Experience : 4 to 6 years in Business Development roles for recruitment companies

We help global companies and well-funded startups hire exceptional data scientists, data engineers, AI / ML experts, and related tech talent in India. With the rise of GCCs (Global Capability Centers), offshoring, and the startup ecosystem in India, this is a massive opportunity, and we are looking for a Business Development Lead to help us capture it.

Goal : Increase revenue across ANY ONE or more of our target markets :

  • Global companies (US / EMEA / ANZ) setting up or expanding remote teams in India
  • Well-funded Indian startups scaling their data and tech teams
  • Mid to large Indian companies building analytics, data, and engineering capabilities

What You’ll Do :

  • Own the full sales cycle : prospect → qualify → proposal → contract / kickoff / POC → handoff to delivery
  • Build deep relationships with Founders, CHROs, and TA leaders
  • Drive targeted outreach using modern automation, CRM, and AI tools
  • Partner with internal recruiters to ensure quick success in pilot mandates
  • Represent datavruti on and industry communities → be visible, credible, and helpful
  • While all revenue is valuable, your focus and incentives will be aligned towards long-term, recurring RPO and Staffing engagements
  • You Should Have :

  • 4 to 6 years of B2B sales / business development experience in recruitment industry
  • Proven record of closing 1Cr+ annual topline in ANY ONE or more of our target markets
  • Experience selling to TA / CHRO / CXO audiences in tech, product, or data-led companies
  • Understanding of global delivery models (offshore, remote, hybrid) and startup tech ecosystems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, storytelling and relationship building skills
  • Comfortable using modern CRM, sales automation, and AI outreach tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, Sales Nav, etc.)
  • An active, credible presence that reflects your content-led sales approach
