Tech Lead – Architecting the Next Billion-User Systems

About Role :

  • This isn’t a “manage the team” role. This is a build, break, scale, and own every damn line of backend logic role.
  • Our systems run on Node.js and AWS, and your job is to make them bulletproof under traffic.

    • What You’ll Do

  • Architect Node.js systems that scale from zero to millions - resilient, battle-tested, and ready for anything.
  • Tear apart bottlenecks before they become outages.
  • Build a backend that auto-heals, scales without begging, and doesn’t melt at 1M RPM.
  • Own the full lifecycle - from feature idea to scaling in production.
  • Guide engineers, set the technical bar, and call out flawed designs.
  • Think ahead : design for chaos, failovers, and ugly realities before they happen.

  • You’ve watched a system catch fire and brought it back with grit and caffeine.
  • You’ve scaled services under brutal load and lived to tell the story.
  • You know Node.js beyond frameworks - profiling, event loop internals, async churn.
  • You can rip apart AWS quirks (RDS slow queries, ElastiCache meltdowns, S3 limits) in your sleep.
  • You don’t wait for instructions - you see a mess and fix it.

  • You’ve taken systems to 100M+ users or 6-digit RPS.
  • You’ve crushed AWS bills without slowing down a single request.
  • You’ve built real-time madness : Kafka, Kinesis, WebSockets.
  • You’ve designed secure-by-default infra : IAM, VPC, KMS.
