Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage the Collections function across the state of Karnataka.
The State Head will be responsible for driving in-house field collections, managing external agencies, ensuring compliance, and achieving recovery targets while maintaining customer relationships and minimizing Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and oversee the entire collections operations for Karnataka.
- Manage and monitor in-house field collections teams to ensure performance and efficiency.
- Handle agency management including empanelment, performance monitoring, and compliance adherence.
- Drive collections strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual recovery targets.
- Analyze portfolio performance, identify risk areas, and take corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines in all collection activities.
- Develop and implement effective training, performance monitoring, and incentive structures for collection teams.
- Collaborate with senior management to design strategies for improving recovery rates.
- Resolve escalations and ensure effective customer handling during collection processes.
- Regularly report on collections performance, portfolio health, and agency Skills & Competencies :
- Strong knowledge of collections operations (field & agency management).
- Proven track record in managing large-scale collection teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and deliver results within timelines.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics in Karnataka.
- Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English & Experience :
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business / Finance / Management (preferred).
- 8-12 years of experience in Collections, with at least 35 years in a leadership role managing state / regional level operations.
