Edge Devices - Operations Engineer

Job Description :

• Experience in  IoT Devices working and troubleshooting  understanding their E2E capabilities.
• Hands on technical troubleshooting, issue investigations for IoT Devices and AWS cloud Platform through close coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Maintain & support network and connectivity devices by acquiring technical expertise.
• Understand and improve the monitoring capabilities created through multiple toolsets  (AWS CloudWatch, Splunk etc.)
• Strong on incident management and adherence to SLAs
• Maintain pipelines in GitLab and own the release responsibilities.
• Creation and maintenance of Operations documentation.
• Work in dynamic Agile environment with DevOps way of working to support global and local business units in complex and cross-technology landscape
• Collaborate with Technology leads, development teams, partners, Users and support teams for issue investigation and resolution
• Contribute and manage E2E Incident lifecycle  and ensure SLA and KPI adherence according to service management practices

Education & Experience :

University degree in Information technology, electronics engineering or equivalent

Minimum experience of 3+ years in supporting applications hosted on AWS Cloud

Technical skills :

Desired :

Exposure working on IoT devices & Connectivity

Hands-on  AWS Cloud operations  experience and knowledge of  AWS IoT concepts

Maintain  GitLab CI / CD pipelines

Working experience on ticketing tool  (e.g. ServiceNow) and Jira

DevOps and agile ways of working experience

Nice to have :

Exposure to AWS Services like  CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, Cognito, IAM, Lambda, Step-functions, MSK, ECR, ECS,

AWS Technical certifications (preferably SysOps Admin) will be added advantage

Exposure to JavaScript and Scripting languages like Python / Shell
