This position is accountable for the following activities : Representing Weatherford as the common face of HSE within the geographical area.
Leading and managing HSE staff within the geographic area and providing HSE oversight for all geographical-based product lines.
Ensuring OEPS HSSE standards are communicated and implemented across the geographic area, and any potential improvements or other required changes are communicated to the GZ HSE Manager.
Ensuring appropriate HSE expertise is available and training and competence programs are implemented and progressing according to timelines agreed with the GZ HSE Manager.
Developing local HSE procedures and / or management plans as necessary to fulfil regulatory or client requirements that are fully aligned with OEPS standards.
Ensuring HSE regulatory requirements are identified, managed and used to support facilities, business units and the legal, compliance and risk departments as required Consolidating, evaluating, processing and communication of HSE statistical information from Weatherford entities within the geographical area.
Leading PC2 Investigations Driving the performance of facilities HSE risk assessments, making sure they are up to date and available to staff.
Ensuring necessary HSE data requirements are compiled and recorded according to Corporate HSE requirements.
Developing, and ensuring compliance to and implementation of facility and country level emergency response, crisis management plans and business continuity plans and that such plans remain current
Developing HSE audits plans for OEPS and regulatory compliance evaluations, and leading in such audits.
Supporting other Business Support Services in HSE requirements including but not limited to : Ensuring HSE support is provided during supplier selection and re-evaluation via necessary audits in a timely manner.
Guaranteeing HSE support is provided for tenders, contract reviews and customer audits.
Supporting Real estate with environmental and HSSE due diligence requirements.
Supporting certification requirements for selected facilities by ensuring relevant certification is identified requirements are implemented.
Ensuring HSE documentation is maintained according to OEPS requirements and specified retention protocols are adhered to.
Emergency response planning and crisis management
Required Skills :
B.S. degree in HSE Engineering or fire background related field from an accredited university
7-10 years experience as an HSE professional in either manufacturing or oil and gas companies. must have 1 to 2 years experience in leadership role.
Must have experience in conducting HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and managing teams of HSE staff.
English language Proficiency.
Preferred Skills :
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma
ISO 45001 and / or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
Preference for sustainability program development experience
Experience in developing and providing training courses and programs
Experience with projects / operations in oil & gas / upstream / downstream processes
