1. GCP Tech Lead - Application

Objective :

Ensure seamless migration of application components (Oracle, Postgres, JMS 2.0, Kafka, Kubernetes) from AWS / Azure to Google Cloud Platform with minimal code changes, while enabling compatibility with GCP services like AlloyDB, and managed messaging services.

Responsibilities :

• Assess and adapt the current application (Oracle, Postgres, JMS 2.0, Kafka, Kubernetes) for Google Cloud.
• Modify database integration for Cloud SQL / AlloyDB and Oracle on Bare Metal Solution or GCE.
• Evaluate and integrate a JMS 2.0–compliant messaging service (ActiveMQ on GKE, Solace, etc.).
• Ensure Kafka migration to Confluent Cloud on GCP or self-managed Kafka with minimal code change.
• Map AWS-specific services (e.g., S3, KMS) to GCP equivalents with minimal application impact.
• Collaborate with the DevOps tech lead to align app-level changes with GCP infrastructure and security.
