Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in API development and migration within AWS Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s) is a strong plus.

This role involves working on modernizing APIs and migrating them to AWS-based architectures while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Lead and support API migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern cloud-based APIs on AWS.
• Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement backend architecture and integration strategies.
• Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to coding and security best practices.
• Participate in CI / CD pipeline setup, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives.
• Work in an Agile development environment with active involvement in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain technical excellence throughout project delivery.
