About the Role :
We are hiring a dedicated Senior Oracle Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to serve in a critical techno-functional role. This position requires specialized technical knowledge to support, develop, and enhance our Oracle Payroll operations. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of the payroll system, focusing heavily on custom development and rigorous testing of payroll calculation logic.
Responsibilities :
- Fast Formula Development : Serve in a specialized technical role to design and expertly develop complex, customized payroll fast formulas based on detailed business requirements to ensure precise, compliant, and efficient payroll processing.
- System Enhancement & Support : Utilize deep Oracle Payroll knowledge to support, troubleshoot, and enhance core payroll operations and system configurations.
- Unit Testing & Validation : Perform rigorous and comprehensive unit testing of all developed payroll fast formulas prior to implementation to confirm their accuracy, reliability, and functionality across various scenarios.
- Techno-Functional Analysis : Apply functional experience in upstream HR modules, such as Oracle Absence, Benefits, or Time and Labor (T&L), to understand how data feeds into and impacts the Oracle Payroll module.
- Requirement Translation : Work closely with functional teams to translate complex business needs and regulatory requirements into technical design specifications for payroll
configuration and development.
Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.Education : Bachelors degree required.Oracle Payroll Expertise : Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in Oracle Payroll module configuration and support.Fast Formulas : Mandatory, proven expertise in designing, developing, and unit testing complex payroll fast formulas.SQL & PL / SQL : Proficiency in using SQL and / or PL / SQL for data validation, complex reporting, and troubleshooting payroll processes.Upstream Functional Knowledge : Functional experience in supporting or configuring related HR modules like Oracle Absence, Benefits, or Time and Labor.Preferred Skills :
Experience with US payroll compliance, processing, and taxation is preferred.Experience with other Oracle tools for data migration or reporting (e.g., BI Publisher).Familiarity with Oracle HRMS tables and data structures.(ref : hirist.tech)
