Job Description :

We are looking for a developer to maintain and modernize a legacy ASP Classic / ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET MVC application integrated with Rockets UniVerse database.

The role involves improving CI / CD pipelines, managing IIS configurations, enhancing site security, and reducing manual deployment errors.

You will work to stabilize the existing system while contributing to long-term modernization efforts.

Experience with ASP Classic, ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework .NET MVC, and Windows-based hosting is essential.

Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze, stabilize, and improve a legacy ASP Classic / ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET MVC application integrated with Rockets RedBack / UniVerse multivalue database.
• Design and implement secure, reliable CI / CD pipelines and deployment workflows (IIS, Git-based flows, etc.
• Improve site security, manage configurations, and reduce error-pronemanual deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to map a path toward modernization while maintaining legacy 5+ years of experience in ASP Classic and ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework .NET (especially MVC) in production environments.
• Familiarity with IIS, Windows-based hosting, and manual deployment constraints.
• Experience or interest in Rocket / UniVerse multivalue databases (via RedBack) is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for interacting with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and proactively recommend modern practices in a legacy-heavy environment.
