Aquis Search has partnerd with a fast-growing global organisation in their search for a Senior Manager – Finance Assurance in Chennai to strengthen their finance governance, controls, and compliance framework.
Role Overview
This role leads financial assurance, overseeing accounting accuracy, statutory compliance, risk assessment, guideline formulation, and process improvements. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership while managing financial controls across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Assurance & Controls
- Drive reliability and integrity of financial information.
- Frame and implement finance assurance guidelines.
- Review Monthly Management Reports (MMR) and balance sheet schedules.
- Ensure clearing accounts are fully reconciled.
- Review draft audited financial statements.
Risk & Compliance
Identify risks and non-compliance across finance processes.Recommend mitigation strategies and strengthen internal controls.Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, tax compliance, and internal policies.Draft / modify group policies and conduct training across teams.Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation across finance operations.Support system enhancements and transformation projects.Training & Stakeholder Management
Present financial risks, insights, and performance updates to senior leadership.Support evaluation and capability development of finance teams.Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accountancy, or related fields.18+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or compliance.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).Strong understanding of financial regulations and statutory requirements.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen.Professional certifications like CPA / CMA are an added advantage.If this sounds like you, please click apply or drop a note on aloysiusparmar@aquissearch.com for a confidential chat.
