Software Engineer – Scripting & Systems

Job descriptionSoftware Development & Scripting : Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools primarily using Python. Implement backend components in C, C++, or Go where performance and concurrency are critical. Database Operations : Perform CRUD operations, optimize queries, and integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases. Develop ETL pipelines and data processing scripts. Systems Programming : Work on system-level tasks, including resource management, network programming, and performance tuning. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate tools into production environments. Testing & Code Quality : Write unit and integration tests for robust, maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Collaboration & Documentation : Work closely with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions on time. Maintain clear technical documentation for scripts, APIs, and workflows. Strong proficiency in Python (automation, data processing, libraries, API development). Solid understanding of database operations (SQL, schema design, performance tuning). Working knowledge of C / C++ for systems-level development. Familiarity with Go (Golang) for building scalable services. Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong collaboration and communication abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2–5 years of professional experience in software development (Python-focused). Experience with Linux / Unix shell scripting. Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure). Understanding of networking and API development.
