Job Title : IT Administrator (Associate Level)

Job Type : Full-time

Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT administration. You will assist in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Practical knowledge and a willingness to learn are valued most.

Key Responsibilities :

IT Support : Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.

System Maintenance : Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.

Software Installation : Assist in installing and updating software across the company’s systems.

Troubleshooting : Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Data Backup : Help ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.

Network Support : Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company’s local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.

Security Monitoring : Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.

Requirements :

Education : BSc (Mandatory)

Experience : 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration (internships, part-time roles, or self-taught experience welcome).

Basic Knowledge of :

Windows and / or Linux operating systems.

Network concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches).

Hardware components (e.g., computers, printers, servers).

Office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.

Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.

Team Player : Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Added Advantage :

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified : Fundamentals, or similar.

Basic knowledge of network security and firewall configurations.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
