Strategy Lead – Digital Organization (CDO Office)
Role Overview :
We are seeking a strategic professional to work closely with the Chief Digital Officer to shape and
deliver the company’s digital and growth plans. This role will drive key initiatives, ensure smooth
execution, and build strong collaboration across teams as we move toward a digital-first approach.
The ideal candidate will have strong consulting and strategy experience, with the ability to balance
big-picture thinking and detailed execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Digital Strategy & Insights
- Continuously monitor global digital trends, emerging technologies, innovative business
models, and ecosystem shifts to provide the CDO with a forward-looking, external-in
perspective.
Identify disruptive forces, start-up innovations, regulatory developments, and cross industry trends that may shape strategic choices and future growth opportunities.Provide synthesized insights to CDO on competitor actions, market movements, and peerbenchmarks to support strategic prioritization and decision-making.
Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations on digital business models,partnerships, and new growth initiatives.
Define and execute a comprehensive digital roadmap aligned with business objectives.Build analytical and financial models, prepare business cases, and evaluate digitalinitiatives for viability and scalability.
Interpret and assess evolving digital, data, and technology-related policies and regulatoryframeworks, providing clear recommendations on their strategic, operational, and
compliance implications for the organization.
Program / Project Management
Lead project management across digital transformation programs – including platformrollouts, automation initiatives, data strategy, and ecosystem partnerships.
Establish dashboards, trackers, and governance mechanisms to ensure executionexcellence and accountability.
Proactively identify bottlenecks, interdependencies, and risks, recommending mitigationmeasures for smooth progress.
Business Reviews & Documentation
Prepare high-quality presentations, strategy papers, and board notes with data-backedinsights.
Track and report digital KPIs, adoption metrics, and transformation milestones forleadership reviews.
Ensure timely follow-through on key decisions and action points from CDO-led discussions.Stakeholder Management
Act as a key liaison between the CDO, technology teams, business units, and externalpartners.
Coordinate inputs from functional leaders to enable informed and timely decision-making.Build strong cross-functional relationships and foster a culture of collaboration and digitalfirst thinking.Requirements :
Experience : 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally across management consulting,strategy roles, or transformation programs in digital & tech verticals.
Proven exposure to strategic planning, execution, and program management in complexenvironments.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to translate data into actionableinsights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience preparingmaterials for CXO and board audiences.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities.High degree of collaboration, maturity, and executive presence to work closely with seniorleadership.
Education :
MBA / PGDM from a premier institute preferred.Background in Engineering will be an added advantage
