Responsibilities – Fit-Out Design Manager

• Design Leadership Strategy
• Lead the end-to-end design process from concept through to completion for multiple fit-out projects.
• Interpret client briefs to create innovative, functional, and brand-consistent designs .
• Develop and implement design standards, guidelines, and templates for consistency across projects.
• Project Coordination
• Act as the primary design liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate design deliverables with MEP, structural, AV / IT, acoustics, and lighting consultants .
• Ensure design solutions are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets and schedules .
• Technical Oversight
• Oversee preparation of detailed working drawings, specifications, and tender documents .
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, prototypes, and mock-ups .
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility norms, fire safety, and quality standards .
• Team Management s Mentorship
• Manage and mentor architects, interior designers, CAD / BIM technicians , and 3D visualisers.
• Allocate workloads, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to the design team.
• Site Support s Quality Assurance
• Conduct site inspections to ensure the built work matches the approved design intent.
• Resolve design-related challenges during construction in coordination with the project management team.
• Budget s Value Engineering
• Work with the costing and estimation team to ensure designs are aligned with budget constraints.
• Propose value engineering solutions without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
• Innovation s Sustainability
• Keep up-to-date with emerging materials, technology, and workplace trends . Promote sustainable design practices and selection of eco-friendly materials.
• Qualification – Architecture Degree

Experience – 8-10 years
