About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Fresher Chartered Accountant
to join our
US Accounting team . The role involves supporting accounting cleanup, month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting processes for US-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified CA looking to build a strong foundation in
US GAAP ,
QuickBooks Online (QBO) , and international accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in
accounting cleanup
by reviewing and correcting historical data, classifications, and reconciliations.
Support
month-end and year-end closing processes
— including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile
accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
accounts.
Prepare and review
bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and intercompany transactions .
Ensure accuracy and compliance with
US GAAP
and internal accounting policies.
Collaborate with senior accountants and US client teams to address accounting discrepancies.
Assist in generating
financial reports
and management dashboards.
Participate in
process improvement initiatives
to streamline accounting workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
– freshly qualified or up to 1 year of post-qualification experience.
Strong understanding of
basic accounting principles and standards
(knowledge of US GAAP preferred).
Proficiency in
Excel
and familiarity with accounting software such as
QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite .
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
