10+ years of work experience in Public sector bank in compliance department

NOTE : looking for candidate from PSU Bank only

Location : Mumbai

Job Role :

Policy and Procedure Development

Design, implement, and regularly update compliance policies, procedures, and internal control systems to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

2. Risk Management

Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability.

Develop and implement strategies and corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.

3. Monitoring and Auditing

Oversee daily operations to ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external standards.

Perform periodic audits and reviews of business processes, documentation, and systems.

Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure timely reporting of findings.

4. Staff Training and Awareness

Develop, coordinate, and deliver compliance and ethics training programs for employees at all levels.

Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the organization.

5. Reporting

Prepare, maintain, and submit required compliance reports and disclosures to regulatory authorities and senior management.

6. Investigations

Initiate and conduct investigations into potential or actual violations of company policies or regulatory requirements.

Recommend disciplinary or corrective actions based on investigation outcomes.

7. Liaison and Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.

Facilitate effective communication between compliance, legal, audit, and business teams.

8. Regulatory Awareness and Continuous Improvement

Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and best practices in compliance and corporate governance.

Continuously update internal policies and training materials to reflect new developments.
