Facade Design Technician

Job descriptionPrepare highly accurate working drawings , façade detail sheets, and fabrication-ready documentation. Translate design intent into practical, buildable details under the guidance of senior architects. Update drawings based on review comments, site inputs, and coordination requirements. Maintain drawing standards, layer conventions, and documentation quality. Work closely with architects to understand design requirements and translate them into detailed drawings. Coordinate and communicate with site teams, structural consultants, and design leads as needed. Participate in occasional site visits for measurements, façade mock-up reviews, and installation understanding. Document site observations and communicate issues or deviations to senior architects. Ensure precision, clarity, and consistency in all drawings and detail sheets. Maintain updated drawing logs, revisions, and documentation records. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch). Strong interest in façade systems, construction details, and working drawings . Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Basic knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D tools (a plus). Understanding of materials such as ACP, glass, metal, stone, and façade finishes is an advantage. Good aptitude for geometry, accuracy, and technical drafting. Ability to comprehend architectural drawings, sections, and design intent. Detail-driven mindset with strong technical curiosity. Willingness to learn façade engineering concepts and on-site practical aspects. Commitment to precision, patience, and consistency in drafting. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with senior architects. Positive attitude, willingness to take feedback, and initiative to improve. Façade systems, materials, and installation methods. Advanced detailing and technical drawing standards. Coordination between architects, contractors, and fabrication teams. Efficient drawing production workflows and quality control. Real-world project execution from concept to installation.
