A fast-growing technology team in the life sciences regulatory domain is looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their engineering group. 🔍  About the Role

We are seeking a senior frontend engineer who can design, build, and optimise enterprise-grade applications using modern tech stacks. This role involves close collaboration with backend engineers, DevOps, architects, and product teams to deliver mission-critical systems used by global clients.

You will work in an agile, remote-first engineering culture that values communication, ownership, and continuous improvement.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications
  • Build and optimise microservices that are secure, reliable, and independently deployable
  • Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews
  • Monitor, debug, and optimise UI performance and scalability
  • Build fault-tolerant systems capable of handling large datasets and complex workflows
  • Implement UI / UX designs with precision and best practices
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and create technical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with remote teams across time zones

💡 Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap
  • Strong expertise in UI / UX implementation
  • HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, responsive design
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , JSON, OpenAPI / Swagger
  • Strong cloud experience ( AWS / Azure / GCP )
  • Excellent knowledge of Git workflows and CI / CD pipelines
  • Database experience : PostgreSQL, MySQL , plus familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation / Terraform) and automated deployments
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean code, and Agile methodologies

    • 🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, scalable web applications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    • ⭐ Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare IT systems (HIS, EMR / EHR)
  • Exposure to privacy standards like HIPAA / GDPR
  • Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate
  • Understanding of AI / ML in enterprise systems
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted coding tools
