Sales Executive – General Trade

Job Summary :
Sresta Natural Bio-Products Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. Sales Executive to drive sales across General Trade in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG / Food sales, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle primary and secondary sales for FMCG products.
- Manage collections, claims , and ensure smooth distributor operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers .
- Expand the General Trade (GT) network by identifying and onboarding new market opportunities.
- Ensure adequate stock availability across all distribution points.
- Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities, retailer feedback, and consumer trends.
- Drive overall sales performance , ensuring targets are achieved in the Chennai region.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any stream (MBA preferred).2 years of experience in FMCG sales within the General Trade channel.Proven expertise in territory management, distribution handling, and retail development.Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Willingness to travel extensively within the allocated area.
