Football Coach [Urgent]

Roles & Responsibilities of Coach – Sports Specific :

1. Sports Specific for overall program implementation.

2. Lead training sessions at HCLFoundation supported sports development centres & ensuring regular participation of program participants.

3. Talent Scouting & Creating Excellence Team in respective locations.

4. Effectively working on creating Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly reports on Talent Development Program of “Sports for Change Special Initiative”.

5. Conducting summer & winter Camp for respective locations

6. Closely Working on Standard Skill and Fitness Assessments.

7. Handle logistics like participant travel, accommodation, Food, etc. duringthe sports events.

8. The role would require extensive travel across India.

9. Effective engagement of HCL employees at “Sports for Change” competition through creative and engaging strategies (employee volunteering).

Attributes and experience :

1. 2-4 years of experience working with sports associations, agencies,NGO’s, Sports Foundations working in organizing Sports events, especially for children. Candidate having priorexperience is mandatory.

2. Should have planned & implemented large scale sports eventsfor children

3. Management& organizational skills : well organized and able to coordinate a wide range of concurrent activities, prioritizing workload effectively to meet deadlines. Self-motivation to act independently and also to workcollaboratively in a team. Able to read and interpretinstructions, policy, procedures, program information, etc.and provide guidanceto others regarding implementation and application, as well as identify areas of improvement.

4. Communication skills : ability to networkwell and collaborate / liaise with other stakeholders includingDistrict Administration and other Departments / Agencies. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances.

5. Abilityto independently deliveron time, to work with a range of stakeholders, to perform in a corporateenvironment and to present the work at various forums.

6. Computer Literacy : high proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

7. Fluency in English is must.
