SAP ABAP with EWM

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior ABAP Consultant to strengthen our SAP development team. The consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality ABAP solutions across modules, supporting application development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. While core ABAP expertise is the primary requirement, exposure to EWM developments or willingness to train in this area will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, clean coding standards, and high-quality deliverables.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within SAP systems.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants where required.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (Reports, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, Workflows, Interfaces).

Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, and OData services.

Hands-on experience with CDS Views and AMDP on SAP HANA.

Solid understanding of performance optimization and debugging techniques.

Ability to work independently as well as in distributed / global teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Exposure to EWM-related developments (Warehouse Task processing, RF framework, queue management, etc.).

Interest in upskilling towards ABAP on BTP / Cloud.

Experience in logistics-related modules (MM / SD / EWM) for cross-functional developments.
