SQA Engineer - Network Engineering

Overview

As a SQA Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our network infrastructure and associated software systems. You will participate in the formulation of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of network-related software, protocols, applications etc. and ensuring robust Software Quality Engineering practices within the team. This position involves a blend of network engineering, software quality assurance, and technical support to maintain the stability and integrity of our SQA network environments. This position will collaborate with a skilled team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers in the development of our Q-SYS platform. Q-SYS stands as a rapidly advancing, award-winning software and hardware platform centered on cutting-edge audio, video, and control products. This role is situated in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

• A Bachelor's degree in Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+)
• Proven hands-on network engineering experience of a minimum of 3-5 yrs.
• Proven experience in network engineering, software quality assurance, and technical support roles.
• Collaboration with globally dispersed teams
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) and Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP / IP model
• strong knowledge in Network security best practices.
• Proficiency in using network diagnostic tools and software testing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and articulate complex technical issues effectively
• Ability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems
• Experience in qualifying audio systems, video systems, meeting room solutions, or network equipment is highly desirable
• Provide / Test Level-2 / 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for network tasks (e.g., Python) is highly desirable.
