Design and Estimation Expert

SYSTRA India, a global leader in engineering and consulting for public transport infrastructure, is looking for a Design and Estimation Expert for the East Coast Railway GC Bhubaneshwar project. SYSTRA India offers comprehensive know-how in Railways, providing solutions for challenges across the entire project lifecycle, including bridges, station buildings, depots, earthwork & track works, power supply and transmission, signaling & telecommunications, rolling stock, and more.

Missions / Main Duties

As the Design and Estimation Expert, you will :

  • Be the overall in-charge of Design and Estimation for the project.
  • Maintain policy circular files and convey policy, directives / circulars on behalf of the CAO / C office to field units.
  • Be responsible for maintaining uniformity in approach among all field units.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by CAO / C .

Required Profile & Skills

  • Education : Graduate in Civil / Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Experience : 5 years' experience in the field of Design pertaining to the construction industry along with quantity estimation .
  • Ability to work in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment .
  • Strong team player with the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through patience, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ensure compliance of the SYSTRA Group policies , particularly on ethics, safety, and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
