Key Responsibilities :
- End-to-end health economic modelling, development and adaptation of complex health economics models, local data sourcing, search, collection and generation and produce support materials for completed economic models, e.g. reports and training programs
- Carry out works relating to the HEOR business areas (health economic modelling, HTA submissions) to a high standard which meets or exceeds client expectations
- Carry out abstract review, paper selection and data extraction
- Plan, prepare and conduct primary interviews with KOLs and other stakeholders / experts as part of HEOR project execution
- Project management including client management tasks, attend client and other external meetings and presentations of own research / analysis
- Produce initial drafts of proposals based on client RFPs and supporting information, participate in internal disseminations
Educational Background
Strong academic track record including MSc or PhD in health economics, healthcare financing, health policy or related area with at least 7 or more years of practical experience in related subjectShould have player a core modellers role in healthcare focused consulting firms.Skills and Abilities
Highly proficient in modelling of BIAs, CEAs, Burden of disease models with proven experience (should have strong excel / VBA skills)Proficiency in R / Python for more complex probabilistic or decision-analytic modelsKnowledge of model types Decision Trees, Markov Models, Partitioned Survival Models, Discrete Event Simulation (DES) (for advanced scenarios)Analytical and statistical skills : sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, metanalysis and indirect treatment comparisons, handling uncertainty and heterogeneity in dataUnderstanding of economic evaluations CEAs, BIAs, Cost utility and cost benefit analysisDemonstrates confidence and maturity in most HEOR and HTA submissionsStrong understanding of Clinical pathways and treatment landscapes, Disease-specific epidemiology and burden, Pricing and reimbursement environmentsAbility to design questionnaire for gathering inputs from physicians and payors based on model requirementsAbility to draft presentations based on model outcomesConfidence in customer interactions on HEOR and HTA issues on virtual meetings and e-mails. Should be able to walk through modelling concepts, developments and generated outcomesKnowledge of KSA, UAE and other middle east markets will be an added advantage
